Vegan Dairy-free Fruit Biscuit Recipe

I have been asked for this recipe over and over recently - it's one of my staple every week makes that the whole family including the vegan teen can snack on as a sweet treat. We love them, i hope you do too! If you don't need them to be vegan or dairy free, feel free to swap out the dairy-free marg for your preferred brand.

vegan dairy-free cheap economical fruit biscuits

Ingredients:

100g dairy-free marg

100g sugar

200g self raising flour

level teaspoon of baking powder

50g currants/sultanas

 

Method:

Combine all ingredients and mix until it sticks together in a ball. if it refuses to come together, you can add a tiny drop of dairy-free milk or orange juice to help it along.

Roll out and use your cookie cutter. Put shapes onto a greased baking sheet. Pop in oven for about 10-12 mins at gas mark 5.

And that's it! super quick and easy. My 3 year old loves making these.
